General Purchase Conditions
WARRANTIES AND RETURNS
Except in cases where the material is specified as new, the customer is aware that the material sold by JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. is a second-hand, recovered, prepared and verified spare part for correct use and operation.
All parts for sale at JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. carry between 1 month and 24 months of warranty depending on the type, as indicated on the delivery note or invoice. When the warranty of a part includes a mileage limit, Recomotor will verify whether the part is still under warranty by comparing the mileage recorded on the installation invoice with the vehicle's current mileage at the time of the claim. Due to the unique nature of parts and spare parts, installation must be carried out by an approved workshop, with the installation justified by the corresponding invoice.
Items sold by JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. are properly marked with seals, brands, tamper-evident labels and proprietary engravings for correct product traceability. Breaking those seals invalidates the warranty and return, unless it is necessary to perform an operation required to exercise the warranty and the breakage is justified.
The following cases are also excluded from this warranty: parts tampered with without JG RECOMOTOR, S.L.'s consent, spare parts subjected to inadvisable or unestablished use, spare parts damaged during installation or incorrect handling, damage caused during transport not reported within 24 hours of receipt. The invoice or delivery note will be proof for any possible claim against JG RECOMOTOR, S.L., so it must be kept by the customer to exercise their rights.
In the case of engines
It must be understood that it is impossible to know exactly what maintenance operations have been carried out on the engine and whether those operations were performed under the conditions established by the manufacturer. Therefore, a complete timing kit, water pump, thermostat, oil, coolant, oil cooler and oil, fuel and air filters recommended by the manufacturer must be fitted in order to exercise a subsequent warranty.
It will also be necessary to replace tensioners, rollers, guides, chains or belts involved in the correct synchronisation of the engine timing. To exercise the engine warranty, the invoice for both the engine installation carried out by an approved workshop and the replaced parts must be provided. For Porsche brand engines that require it, installation of a new IMS kit is mandatory.
In the case of gearboxes
For both manual and automatic gearboxes, it must be understood that it is impossible to know exactly what maintenance operations have been carried out on the gearbox and whether those operations were performed under the conditions established by the manufacturer. Therefore, it is necessary to replace the transmission fluid, and for automatic gearboxes also the filters, in order to exercise a subsequent warranty. The invoice for both the gearbox installation carried out by a professional and the replaced parts must be provided.
ECUs and parts with electrical components
For ECUs and parts with electrical components we cannot offer a warranty, as once sold, simply fitting them to the vehicle can render them unusable if the short circuit problem has not been resolved.
RETURN OR WITHDRAWAL CONDITIONS
JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. offers a maximum return period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product if you are not completely satisfied with the purchase. Provided JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. has an equivalent part to the one supplied, an exchange will be made; otherwise a credit will be issued, except for electrical parts. The product must not be tampered with. If our after-sales department detects that the product has been tampered with, the return will not be accepted.
Returns of electrical parts will only be accepted when the customer ordered a part with a specific reference and JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. erroneously supplied a different one. Transport costs arising from the return of a part will always and under any circumstances be borne by the customer, who is responsible for returning the part. The packaging method or material used for the return must be the same or similar to that used by JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. in its shipments, and the customer is responsible for any damage that may occur during the return transport. Cash on delivery or reimbursement of transport costs will not be accepted. Installation and uninstallation costs will never be refunded.
The credit for the spare part will be processed within 20 days of receipt of the product at our premises, as it must go through an inspection and verification process. Before making a return, the conditions must be checked with JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. so that the customer can be informed of the correct return address. If the customer returns the product without checking the return address, the company will not be responsible for additional transport costs due to an incorrect address.

For any dispute arising between the parties regarding the interpretation or fulfilment of this document, they expressly waive any other jurisdiction and submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Lleida.
DELIVERY TIMES
JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. works with various transport companies that have delivery times of between 24h and 72h. JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. is not responsible for possible delays in delivery caused by the transport company, as this is a service external to the company.
DAMAGE CAUSED DURING TRANSPORT
When receiving the goods, the customer must ensure that the package is externally in good condition and shows no signs of having been struck. If so, they must refuse the shipment, noting the incident on the carrier's delivery note and/or notifying JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. within 24 hours. This enables the management of incident claims with the transport companies. Once that period has passed, JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. will not be able to manage the claim.
To be able to make a claim against the transport company, the customer must take photos of the outer packaging and the specific part, as well as keeping the packaging during the claim process. JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. undertakes to manage the claim with the transport company provided the customer meets the deadlines, but is not responsible for the outcome issued by the transport company.
MATERIAL RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT
When JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. delivers a quote to a customer, the material is automatically reserved for 48 hours for payment to be made. If during that period the material becomes unusable or its sale is not possible, JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. reserves the right to sell that material and the money will be refunded to the customer within 72 hours if payment has already been made.
The deposit for any spare part will not be refundable if the customer does not wish to proceed with the purchase. JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. will issue the customer with a document showing the amount paid as a deposit, the information on the reserved material and the payment deadline for the total invoice or quote, among other information. After this deadline, any deposit paid to JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. will be forfeited. The document for said deposit must be presented together with proof of payment at the time of delivery of the spare part. The amount paid as a deposit will be deducted from the total amount of the final invoice.
If you do not agree with all or any of the specifications in this document, please return the material to us unopened and with the seal intact. Breaking the seal will constitute acceptance of our warranty and returns policy.
